Fall Clothing/Personal Care Drive

October 26-30, 2009
Please help support the Knox County Clothing Center, which provides clothing assistance to students who are enrolled in a Knox County school and who are unable to receive help from other sources. Each year, the center serves over 2,000 students and distributes over 60,000 new and gently used articles of clothing.

All sizes are needed, from preschool to adult (NO used shoes, socks, or underwear). We will also be collecting personal care items, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, non-aerosol deodorant, travel size toiletries, etc. These items will be donated to area shelters and facilities that support children. Farragut schools have consistently been one of the largest contributors to the Clothing Center. Please help us continue this tradition of generosity! Drop boxes will be located in the front lobby of FIS during the week of October 26-30. Questions can be directed to Deborah Dickerson, FIS PTA Citizenship Chair.
